It was back in 2011, when I was young and smart phones were becoming popular, that I found myself becoming interested in programming. The first app I made was the card game 'Crazy 8's' which I made for the Dutch market.

This game 'Pesten!' was one of the first games written in Dutch and probably became so popular for that reason. In the years that followed I continued to come up with new apps and had about 12 at one point. The most popular of them was a drum computer called 'Beat Maker', downloaded more than 1 million times.

So what happened?

Well this happened, in 2018, a developers worst nightmare:

Luckily I had most of my code backed up. But unfortunately I lost one of my Google signing keys. That meant that I could never again update many of my apps, including the card game and the most popular one, Beat Maker. 

This lead me to take a 6 year leave from app development while I watched each app being removed from the play store due to lack of updates. 

But now I back!

Only one app could be saved and that was Typewriter. Beat Maker and Sprite Maker have since been put back up, starting from scratch.

I'm having a lot of fun again making these apps even beter that they used to be, and hope to publish more soon. For everyone that has downloaded my apps now and in the past, Thank you!
